A Working Wardrobe can be comprised mostly of separates. Separates stretch your wardrobe as you can mix and match and get more use out of them. Also, it's always good to include at least three jacket choices in your wardrobe. Jackets denote power and authority, either worn as a suit or with a dress.

The core or center of your wardrobe is a solid color suit in the style and color that most flatters your coloring, body type and personality. Personally, my favorite color is black. In fact, a phrase I have coined is the black bottom brigade. With three black bottoms, you can create a complete wardrobe to wear daily and no one will ever be the wiser!

Don't fall for the size trap. If you're not at your ideal weight, compensate by smart dressing, good grooming and honing your social skills, including your smile and concern for others.
